Last Mandarin Lesson

We had such a fun last lesson with Anna Woods, our Mandarin teacher.  We got to learn about Chinese Opera and make our own opera masks.  Anna is having her baby soon and will then move out of state.  We will miss her :(

Hazel's Sister

We have completely convinced our kids that the song, Hey Soul Sister by Train, is actually, Hazel's Sister.  That's the way we sing along to it and in my opinion, it's a much better song that way.

Sylvia's First French Braid

Tonight after Sylvia's "late night up with Daddy" I tried a french braid in her hair.  When she saw herself in the mirror she exclaimed, "I look like someone else."
