Power Crazy

Today I let Isabel be the teacher and quiz Luke and me on our State Capitols. She got a little power crazy and reminded us constantly that if we got one wrong we would have to go to the principal's office. Luke got sent to the principal's office and the whole thing ended up with Isabel chasing Luke around upstairs. Here are some pictures of us today, painting rocks just because they were there. (The "because it is there" thing worked for reason enough to climb Mount Everest, why not for painting rocks?!) 032

Military School

So many times while we are doing our work at the table, we eat snacks. Yesterday while doing just that, I told my kids a story about when I was in first grade, I sneaked an apple into class and got caught. That mean teacher made me do push ups in front of the whole class. I was hoping to get a cheer for homeschooling from my kids after that, but instead, they wanted to take turns doing push ups in front of me while reciting their Articles of Faith....weird.
